BELLY BREATHING FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN

Have you every been so upset you couldn't catch your breath?  Belly Breathing is a great tool when this happens.  Breathe slowly in to the count of 5 in your head and watch your belly stick out and feel your lungs fill.  The release to the count of 6 and watch your belly shrink and feel your lungs release the air.  Pay attention to the air as it moves in and out. Children:  Play a game.  get a balloon and decorate it and the have child blow in the balloon to fill and then let it go and watch it shrink. Now fill it up and tie off have the child lie down and place the balloon on their belly and have them breath in to the count of 5 and release to the count of 6 and watch the balloon go up and down.
