1. Illness starts before it can be measured, symptomatic, over time, and it is not random.  Even unhealed

trauma from our past affects our health.

2. 1 disease, 2 causes, and 6 pathways.

3. GREAT NEWS!  The body can and will fix itself, if we change.

4. 4 of the worst foods, sugar, white flour, processed oils (ones in the grocery stores), and milk/dairy.

8. Reminder change your filters monthly!

9. After you buy your fruits and vegetables wash them.  I use Young Living fruit and veggie wash (I can

order you some) or vinegar and water. Try cutting your broccoli and half and soak it 1 half in water

and the other in the veggie wash and see the difference in the 2 sides.  I place a order each month on the

25th.  Orders must me received and paid for to get special pricing. (send a email here with interest

10. Remove the outside layers from lettuce type foods and discard.

11. Avoid using the grill often.

12. Avoid microwaves.

13. 3 most contaminated oils: Peanut, Cottonseed and Soybean.  

14. Avoid Soy

15.Home Depot offers free water testing kits. They are normally on the rack near the checkout lines.

16. Mental Health is important.  Being and thinking negative can impact your health.  Choose to say

something positive to yourself daily.

17. Choose to turn labels into healing.  I am recovering from....., I am living.......

18. Healthy can be uncomfortable if you never had it, go slow, go forward and babystep yourself to

wellness.

19. YOU ARE NOT YOUR DIAGNOSIS.

20. Get moving, write the alphabet with your arms and legs daily

21. Breathe deep to the count of 10, hold it for 10 and exhale for 10. Repeat 4 more times twice daily.

22. Get the appropriate amount of sleep. Keep a notepad by the bed and write down things before you lay

down.

23. Exercise your eyes, look far, and hone in on details.

24. Check and fix EMF'S.

25. Genetics is 25% and what you do with it is 75%, take control of it.  You don't have to be like grandpa!

29. I personally avoid the dentist November to February unless it is urgent. But also make sure you use

your cleaning visits.

32. Homeopathics (can get locally at CVS, Walgreens, Grocery Stores etc): Oscillococcinum, coldcalm, ​​etc

33. Teas such as: Chamomile,  Hibiscus, and Ginger

34. Hot toddy: slightly warmed whiskey with honey and lemon. Some add cinnamon and/or ginger

35. Herbal Syrups: Rosehips, Elderberry, Fire Cider, and Ginger/Lemon Balm

36. Hand Sanitizer without alcohol (below under recipes)

37.  Vitamins such as D3, A, C, and Zinc

38. Supplements such as quercetin, nac, xlear (nose spray), silver (gel, liquid and sprays) and melatonin.

39. Nebulizer: I personally do not do peroxide and choose to do silver (1 tsp) and lobelia essence (liquid)

40. Over the Counter (OTC)  severe cold and flu Nyquil/Dayquil combo, Dimetapp, Mucinex, etc

41. Prescription (RX) Z pack, various flu packs, steroids etc.

42. STOP all iron containing products when sick

43. Diffusers, humidifiers/dehumidifiers etc

44. Essential Oils such as peppermint, RC, lemon, lime,  Immune Blends, Thieves

45. Cough Drop 

46. Home remedies such as garlic and onion on feet, garlic in ears nose etc (not for children without

constant supervision) honey, ginger, salt water gargle, REST

47. Epsom salt bath (below under recipes)

48. Home Made Vicks vapor rub (below under recipes)

49. Pets: I treat mine with homeopathics/herbs/oils etc like I would myself or my children.  I add oils, garlic,

herbs and probiotics to their water.  When the weather changes to cold I add extra, when it warms up

I add electrolytes.

50. THE NUMBER ONE THING I DO FOR MY FAMILY DURING COLD AND FLU SEASON IS.........

PREVENTION #1 is to not focus on cold and flu season but all year staying healthy and in

prevention but be prepared in case you do get sick. ​
